This research was conducted with the aim of finding usefulness and benefits picture as a teaching strategy or media to teach writing skill students. The method in this classroom action method, which carried out two cycles. Subjects participants study were students at SMP Negeri 7 Pematangsiantar, precisely IX-4 researchers collected data from test results on implementation text.
